Handle intimidating

Think about it for a moment, how hard do you work at avoiding that person?

While some employees may demonstrate a thicker skin when handling instances of intimidation, small businesses must seek out a way to eradicate this type of behavior for the benefit of all employees and the company.According to the Bellingham, Wash.-based Workplace Bullying Institute, one-third of people surveyed say they've been bullied on the job.Half of the organizations surveyed by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) reported incidents of bullying in their workplaces. And it's not usually coming from that proverbial bad boss whom we all like to gripe about: 82 percent of workplace bullying incidents were peer-to-peer.

I’ve just moved to a new city (husband’s work) and have been adopted by a group of moms at my son’s school. Stacy had us all to dinner and drilled me with so many questions about home — which I miss terribly — that I started to cry.Remember, that your job is a provision of need, and not the be-all-end-all of your life.
